How is pricing structured?+
We don't publish list prices. Enterprise pricing is sized to your team, jurisdiction footprint, and the modules you want to run. Most customers land on a flat annual fee plus a bring-your-own-LLM arrangement — you pay your provider directly for tokens, we don't mark them up.
Is there a free tier?+
Yes. You can sign up free and run one legal entity with 25 AI calls per day — no credit card. It's a real workspace, not a stripped shell. When you need more entities, more users, or wider compliance coverage, that's when pricing starts with a conversation.
What does a typical engagement look like?+
A 30-minute discovery call, a 7-day pilot in a sandbox tenant against your real contracts (redacted if you prefer), and an MSA. Most teams are live within two weeks of the first call.
Can we self-host?+
Yes. LawDep ships as Docker images and runs on Railway, AWS, or any Kubernetes cluster. Self-hosted customers get a private deployment on your infrastructure — code and data never leave your VPC. Pricing for self-host is annual and includes updates.
What happens to our data if we offboard?+
You get a full JSON export of every table you have data in, plus every uploaded document, before we suspend the workspace. After 90 days of inactivity the data is deleted from primary storage. There are no per-tenant fees to retrieve your data.
Is the AI trained on our data?+
No. Your data is not sent to OpenRouter or MiniMax for training. It's used only for the specific prompt you sent. Refer to your LLM provider's data-use policy for confirmation. LawDep itself never trains a model.
